Tarangire Treetops Lodge consists of 20 stunning ‘tree-house’ style chalets, approximately 55sq metres in size, set up into the baobab and marula trees.

Each room has been designed using a mixture of contemporary and natural materials and has its own ensuite bathroom with double shower and vanity, mosquito nets, hairdryer, fan and a large private verandah overlooking the plains of Tarangire. The camp is small, luxury, fully inclusive and personally hosted.

Tarangire Treetops sits within a private Conversation Area bordering Tarangire National Park, in the path of Tarangire’s elephant migration. Covering an area of 2600 sq kilometers the National Park literally teems with wildlife throughout the year with a dense population during the dry season (June – October).

Tarangire is home to some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa, passing the lodge on their way to watering at the Sand River. Situated just at the border outside the park, the area has all the same species of wildlife as the Tarangire National Park, including leopard, lion, cheetah, lion and buffalo.
